COVID and HEALTH PROTOCOLS
Preventative protocols.This means keep yourself healthy, so if virus, bacteria or germs try to invade your body, it will be ready to fight for you!
- Make sure your hydroxy D3 number is between 60-90. If you do not know your D3 number, get it tested ASAP, either with your primary care doctor or with me. It is a $65 lab fee to be tested in my office, and it take approx. 2 weeks to get the test result in. Most health ins covers a D3 test so ask your doctor for a test.
Most are supplementing with 5,000-10,000 IU daily, depending on what their number is. Also, never supplement with D3 alone. Always with K2. Even more optimal is K2, A and D all 3 together. A helps you assimilate Vit D, D3 helps you absorb calcium and K2 ushers the calcium to your bones .
- Get adequate zinc in your diet. Best diet sources are lamb, organic roast beef, bison, pecans and garbanzo beans. Hummus is also excellent since it is made from garbanzo beans. If you are not getting these in your diet regularly, then supplement with 30 mg daily.
- Quercetin with Vit C or Bioflavonoids. 500 mg daily. This helps build the immune system and great antioxidants.
- Probiotics- multiple strains. Optimal gut health is crucial! Be feeding it daily good gut bacteria. If low in probiotics, you may have trouble adequately absorbing a D3 supplement.
- Magnesium – 400 mg daily. Magnesium glycinate is the best for muscles and heart. Magnesium citrate is the best for those who struggle with constipation. Magnesium plays a central role in just about every bodily process, from the synthesis of DNA to the metabolism of insulin. Low levels of this crucial mineral have even been tied to an entire laundry list of chronic conditions — like Alzheimer’s, diabetes, bone-related issues and heart disease
- Eat healthy, this means organic, and no fast food, no hydrogenated oils or trans fats, Keep sugar consumption at a minimum.
- Exercise and move your body.
- Reduce stress. Find something that you enjoy. Get away from the world and do something for yourself at least 4-5 times per week, where you can relax and de-stress.
- Get optimal sleep at night. Go to bed at same time and wake up at same time. The body loves consistency. Sleep in a dark and quiet room. Do not eat or snack late at night.
- DO NOT live in fear. Ignore the media. Tune them out. They love to create drama and fear. Have confidence in your body and nourish your body. It loves you and wants to protect you, so give it what it needs to live abundantly.
PROTOCOLS FOR COVID or FLU POSITIVE DIAGNOSIS
Begin these protocols immediately and have everything on hand ready to go before a positive diagnosis. NO ONE is immune to viruses, but we can make our internal terrain an unhappy place for them! KNOCK virus out!!!
- For first 3 days, increase your D3 supplement to 20,000 IU daily, no matter what your D3 number. After 3 days, drop down to 10,000 IU for 2 weeks, then go back to your original dosage after the 2 weeks, whatever that was. Make sure you are taking K2 and A with your D3. If you have a burning sore throat, gargle with 1 tsp of food grade hydrogen peroxide 2x per day for 2-3 days.
- NAC- For first 3 days take 1,000 mg 3x daily, then drop down to 1,000-1500 mg daily for at least 4 weeks, for recovery.
- Zinc- for first 3 days take 100 mg daily, then drop back down to your normal dosage after this. Stay on it for at least 4 weeks.
- Quercetin with Vit C and/or Bioflavonoids. For first 3 days take 2,000 mg daily of Quercetin. Increase Vit c to 2,000 mg as well. After this, drop down to normal dosage of approx. 500 mg daily for at least 4 weeks. Juicing a whole lime, lemon and orange 2x daily is an even better way to get excellent Vit C. I did this when I had Covid.
- Elderberry – For first 3 days take 1,000 mg daily, then drop to 400-500 mg daily for at least 4 weeks
- Black walnut tincture – a super anti-viral. For first 3 days take 60 drops in 3 oz of water 3x daily. Then drop down to 60 drops 2x daily for ten more days.
- Rocky Mountain Throat syrup with OSHA- Take 1 tsp every 3 hours for 3-5 days.
- Rest and stay well hydrated!!! Very important.
